Deadlands: Lost Colony is the sequel setting to Deadlands and Deadlands: Hell on Earth and combines the science fiction and horror genres. Its mission was to set up a colony on the planet Banshee so they could mine its raw Ghost Rock deposits. When the Last War was fought, the Tunnel collapsed, stranding the colonists on Banshee. The natives of the planet, called Anouks, resisted the invasion, but the humans had better technology.

Well, not wrong? Deadlands is the Weird West setting. The original game that eventually became Savage Worlds came from this. The new versions use the Savage Worlds rules, but which version of one depends on which version of the other. Same caveat on the rules as with Deadlands.
Lost Colony takes place at See more about the same time as the Hell on Earth setting. Basically just before Earth "went to hell", they found a way to get to another world, that has resources Earth wants really badly. So they go there, set up towns and mines, and all the rest to exploit the heck out of it. Then the "tunnel" back to Earth collapses, leaving them stranded in an alien system. There are raiders, corporations, purple aliens, and even stranger evil aliens called skinnies.
The "grapes" annouk? And ancient ruins in the asteroid belt, and other bizarre things to explore. Like the others, this was originally based on the version of the Deadlands rules. All of the 3 settings can be ran completely separate. Or at least not the last time I read the books. I do not have this one yet, so who knows. Final thing. The planet most of the action takes place on is Banshee.
Deadlands Lost Colony
Plot[ edit ] The story is a continuation of that featured in the Deadlands: Hell on Earth roleplaying game. Shortly before the Last War, a devastating nuclear war that allowed the Reckoners to ravage the Earth and turn it into a nightmarish wasteland seen in Hell on Earth, a trans-dimensional gateway called the Tunnel was created between Earth and a distant planet called Banshee. The planet was rich in Ghost Rock, and small outposts were established in order to harvest it and ship them back to Earth. On Banshee, the human colonists had a number of run-ins with the local species, called Anouks, causing a war of their own. As the Last War heated up on Earth, the Tunnel was closed, leaving no way for the colonists on Banshee to return to Earth.
